Native Flute Legends

Music is truly an international language
it does not recognise borders or boundaries
It has been around for as long as Mankind has

The first notes of music were probably played
by striking a stone or stick on a hollow log
or by striking two stones together
perhaps it was even blown through a hollow bone
However it was discovered it gave birth
to one of the greatest gifts Mankind has ever known

Long before pen was put to paper
in the notes we recognise as Music Scores today
Music was created by the images
and visions seen by the eye and mind
or the sounds heard by the ear
the song of a bird the call of a deer
the rippling of a mountain stream
the wind thunder and rain all played their part
in creating what we now call Music

This is the way to learn how to play
the Native American Indian flutes
of which there are many kinds.
Be aware of what you see and hear
from this you will be able to create music
for all around you life will give you the notes to play
and the feelings to put into your music.
